Community Media gives individuals and community groups a “voice” they might not otherwise have had. The developments you see here are extremely sustainable as they are supported by open source software, other applications developed at Teesside University as well as free or inexpensive solutions. We have shaped open source software to match the needs and demands of each community group and they in turn take ownership of their own content creation.
