We are a bunch of people mostly working at the University of Teesside. The posts in this blog do not represent the views of our employer. We’re all committed to the stuff we do, the stuff we’re intersted in, the stuff we get paid to do the stuff we don’t get paid to but do anyway.
THE ROAMING ACRONYMS
Silly name but we’ve gone through many DICE (Digital Innovation [or Initiatives] in Community Education) LATWIT (Learning And Teaching With Technology) This is a group of people interested in bitesize, informal, community supported, and focused learning. We experiment, discuss and brainstorm techologies for learning. Alternatives to Blackboard. Alternatives to everything. Exploring the potential of technologies to help people acquire education and to learn stuff. We don’t really care what the stuff is as long as the learners develop their potential as people and are therefore better educated. Although the group are interested in Technology they are also interested in Pedagogy and new approaches to learning
CMAD

STRAAD PLAYERS

TVCM (Tees Valley Community Media)
