This site was set up to assist communications during the 2011 Independence  Day Celebrations. You can still see all the activity from the 2011 link in the top menu bar. Now we are trying to add more things and in particular we will chart the 2012 Ministerial Visit to the North East of England by His Excellency Tomasz Czpiatis. (pictured left)

Užhupis is quite small, situated in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. On one side it is separated from the Old Town by the Vilnia River, on the other there are steep hills, and on the third there is an industrial area built under the Soviet rule. The first bridges across the river were built in the 16th century.

Warm wishes to the republic.

His Excellency
